Whats the name of this hood?

I'm looking for the hood that has the ram air, and the two side vents and it also sinks in in the middle for a 2002 TransAm. Not the Raptor hood and not the factory WS6 hood. Ive seen it a couple of time but cant even find it while browsing the net, this seems like the best place to find it! Let me know!

It's either going to be the Firehawk hood or the WS9 hood. There's a slight difference. The WS9 hood is the WS6 hood with the two extractor vents, and the Firehawk hood has the extractor vents and a little different nostril setup. Also, the Firehawk hood isn't as tall as the WS6 or WS9 hoods, or at least it doesn't appear to be.

WS9

Firehawk

You can see the difference in the two.

Since he mentioned vents on the side, he is probably referring to the WS9 hood...

edit: B10

edit2: hmm, I never knew that the stock Firehawk hoods had those little vents.

Still not it...

Well I think the WS9 hood and the FireHawk hood are awsome, but it is still not the hood I am looking for the side hood vents were more like a line than a hole I belive they were two sunk in line vents. I saw them before on Ebay and I saw one in person a couple of years ago... I recently got promoted and my boss is buying me a hood for my birthday on June 3rd, he told me to find it and he would get it so I really want to find this hood! The car I saw it on was a black and gold Trans Am. thnx,

Ed

Go with this one. It's way cheaper.

Youngsfbody is a good bit more expensive, but before you write them off, call Mecham and get a shipping quote on the hood. Also, find out if Youngsfbody's price includes shipping. Add up your total cost and go from there. The $769 price tag from Mecham does not include shipping, but if Youngsfbody does, then you might come out ahead by getting it from them. You won't know until you call them, though.
