whats the difference in white face guages from 97-98 and 99-02 ???

a friend is wanting some of the Silver Reverse Glo Guages on eBay for his 2000 Z, but the listing has them for only the 97-98 models only. The clusers look the same... whats the difference?

It's the placement of a couple of the indicator light. The bright headlight indicator is in a different location, the 99-up have the hatch open indicator light - just to name a few.
All V8's have 150mph speed-o, V6's have 120mph - the 200mph speed-o is aftermarket.

okay, there is a difference between the two styles. its very minimal, but i drive a 97 and when i ride in my friends '00, i can tell the difference. yeah, they both have 150 speedos. but they are slightly different.

The difference is the 97+ models ( most 97's) have digital odometers and a revised facing.

you can get your 97 and up gauges recalibrated to 200 and new speedo that goes up to 200. You have to send it away to some company if i remember right, but they are only 150mph stock.

I have switched the gauge faces on my 97 to a 2000 and everything lines up the same except ...

The bright light indicator is in a different spot on the 2000 and there is also a change oil indicator on the 2000
( I assume 99 + really )
