CAI with an SS hood

I got an SS hood a while back with intentions of getting the airbox. I already had CAI (was on the car when I bought it). Then I found out the SS Ram Air basically SUCKS. I know SS owners that have ripped out the ram air and have put in CAI. The Air Box sits on the engine which keeps it warm, and its not truly ram air. The air must circle around to the throttle body.

Note: Ram Air on TAs IS true ram air and IS good

So I kept my CAI and kept the SS hood, which forces some air down onto the engine, probably keeping it a bit cooler, Im not really sure But CAI is better than Ram Air on the Camaro. You can get an SS hood and NOT get the air box.

i'm just wondering because my Z28 came with a SS hood and i think it would look better if it wasn't blocked off
