Anything over an 18 inch wheel on an f-body is just too much in my opinion! The f-body twins should always be represented as the great muscle machines that they are instead of trying to hop on the BLING-A-BE bandwagon.

Dude... do you really take yourself seriously?
Respect "tha" hood?

Why do some ghettofied people act like the "hood" is a good/powerful thing and people should have some sort of reverance for it?

Anyhow... about your question:

20 inch rims on Camaros almost always look terrible. I think I've seen one set of 20 inch wheels on a Camaro that even looked bearable.

Just about the only thing 20 inch rims look good on is trucks and SUVs... and even then most of the aftermarket 20s still look terrible - especially the chrome ones - they just looked so damned ghetto.

I guess I just hate most wheel upgrades because past a certain point they serve ABSOLUTELY no functionality... they just make your vehicle ride like a hooptie (very uncomfortable), kill your handling, decrease your stopping distance, acceleration, and gas mileage (upsprung weight and rolling resistance).

It's just one of those things for people to say "Hey look at me, I have big wheels"

In my previous post I mentioned there was one car with 20s that looked at least somewhat good... and it was Matt's I was referring to.

Even his is a bit overdone IMO.

I think the same wheels but 18s up front and 19s in the back would look better.

Pretty clean looking car, but those wheels should be 18s with a little more rubber on them. Those are just too damn big. IMO.

It depends. Usually you have to spend big bucks for them to look good. Like HRE's or Fikse's for example. But I think you need some sidewall meat on muscle cars. 19's are pushing it for me, but take a look at the 345x19 tires on the new viper, big wheel, nice meaty sidewall, perfect IMHO.

18-20's can look good with the right wheel style but for most people they aren't practical. If you are gonna just cruise around and show your car then go for it, but if you wanna race your car you better get a smaller wheel with a bigger tire for better traction IE: welds with slicks.

17's IMO are the perfect mix bigger wheel fills the wheels well but I can throw on some MT et streets on some 17x10.5-17x11 rear wheels and get badass traction.

If you want 20's go for it but 17 billion spoke spinners are gonna look ghetto but being from the "hood" I guess it doesn't matter

Had 20's. Thats a great example of the right wheel. Being around 18's & 17's makes 20's look wierdly huge, but being around that car for a while made 17's and 18's look cartoonishly small.
