What would you guys do?

So a while back, about 4 months to be exact, I wrecked my car. All it needed was a hood and fender. I had defective paint, so we got my entire car painted. I get out of my car and notice that the paint is peeling off by the left front and rear wheel wells. Its not very noticeable but I think what happens 8 months down the road when it does it on my hood? So I call up my dad and tell him whats going on and hes always a little B*tch about things and tells me we will go down there and see if they can do anything. I say no, im going down there to make them do something. So the thing is, are they going to look at my car and say that ive been doing something to cause it and say we cant fix it? My car is extremely dirty because it has been raining for 2 weeks and I havent had the chance to clean it, should I clean it up a little or what? what would you guys do if you were in my shoes?

Did they give you any kind of warranty on the paint job?

Yes, most likely, because they would have a record of the service they did for you, with a date of transaction, date of completion, and some kind of warranty.....go check it out

1st off, find your warranty.
2nd, detail your car like crazy
3rd, go down to the paint shop and tell them that this is
If they agree to fix their screw up, congrats.
If they do start giving you like they won't fix it. start b*&**$n like there is no tommorrow, call the Better Business Bureo, tell all your friends not to go to this body shop, and if necisaary take them to small claims court. Don't let them screw you over.

Good Luck

Well I know for a fact their warranty states that they will repaint or refund if THEY are at fault, I knew my dad would be a B*itch about it and tell me that oh thats where rocks hit...no dad, thats not where rocks hit, the previous 9 months I had the car I had no problems with peeling paint in that area, suddenly the car gets repainted and 4 months later, voula its peeling and my dad is a complete bitch and says they wont fix it. I dont give a **** Im going to go down there tomorrow morning or maybe like monday so that gives me time to detail my car and make it look like I keep it like a show car because I really do. Im just afraid they are going to try and screw me over, most people dont understand especially in my family that this is a big deal to me. All they say is that oh you prolly have the nicest car out of all the teenagers I know...no mom...ive got a 95 6 banger.

Paint doesn't just flake by itself. Flaking is caused by improper prep or incompatible primer and paint. When you take a screwdriver to your car's paint, that is your fault. When the paint is flaking off the metal or primer, that is the painter's fault. Pretty simple so don't let them try to tell you it's your fault!!!
