what size relay

Hello all, I know not again, but I already did a search and couldn't find what size relay for the 98+ spoiler conversion. I bought a 30-amp auto relay from radio shack, not sure if it will work. Just trying to get some info. I think that was the only size anyway. Will somebody who did this please let me know if it is the right one, because I don't want to f@#k anything up. Thanks in advance...John.

I have seen many people do this mod, why can't you just take two seconds to verify something. Thanks...John

I have not done this mod - but I do know that a 30-amp relay will be fine.

As long as it is a SPDT relay - there all gonna do the same from 5-amps up probably for this mod. The only difference is that a 30-amp relay is really "overkill" but it's also the most popular, probably was the only one they had.

You will be fine with that - it won't burn something up or anything - it will just function like its supposed too.
