Hey all, i am getting some hockey stripes for my car, and i will also be ordering some ZL1 stripes. But with the zl1 stripes it says the HP# on the scoop. So i dont know, what i want the hockey stripe to say. I want to convert my ls1 to a ls6 so i was thinking maybe LS6, on the side, or ZL1/LS6 or sumthing like that. What would you guys put?

 

I don't really like those hockey stripes, maybe it's the bend in them? I do like those horsepower decals displaying your power.

 

I dont know about those stripes, some times they look amazing and sometimes they're just like :blah:

Like on FacelessZ's car they looks really good but on others i dont like them. But its your car and your decision. I would n't put LS6 or anything similar until you actaully made it a LS6. I personally would stick with the HP# unless of course your ashamed of it

 

no offense but your broke teenager *** is not swapping in an LS6...with that said you cant think of what to put in the hockey stripes because you want to put one too many sets of stripes on your car....solution: pick one set........

 

just put the Z28 badge there..like on the older ones..and remove the badge from the side fender area

 

. I am not broke far from it actually. I work my *** off for my car and i can afford to do what i want to it. So blow me. And if you could read there smart one, it says that i am CONVERTING my LS1 to a LS6, There is a 02 LS1 parts car in the junkyard and i am takeing the block, it is a LS6 i ran the casting #, so then i am getting heads, cam intake for it. Hence LS6. The ZL1's have the ci on the hockey stripes, like 427, but it looks retarded if i put oo, a whole whopin 346 ci. And i would not put HP since it is engraved on the hood scoop. it came out more offensive than i had meant it, but come on how many kids say there gonna do all this big stuff that never happens...if you go through with it more power to you and good luck to you...

my opinion if you want both stripes...hp on hood and LS6 on the hockey stripe...LS6/ZL1 is too much, not ZL1 because well it isnt one, not ss if u want to keep the side badges, SLP would just be weird

Well, first off i am not a "Kid"...that is how you were acting when you decided to "flame" me about the stripes. A bit of advice dont start **** with people when you know nothing about them and are doing it from 2,000 miles away on a key board. Anyone can be a hero on the internet. I am 19 years old, bought my car with MY own money, pay MY own insurance, pay for MY gas, pay for MY mods, pay for MY rent, pay MY for food and also i pay for college...granted i am not rich but i do well. Its called hard work and it does pay off. I work 40 hrs a week and go to school full time. This is not going to be an overnight process, it will take place over the span of a year or so. And i do what i say and say what i do. thanks

That's what I did. I catch hell about it sometimes because it's a 346. I figure if you round it off it'd be 350 plus it's faster than the original 350 anyway so... Using the actual emblems looks a lot better than decals and has the nostalgia to it. Oh, and JMO but I think the ZL1 stripe and hockey sticks are too much.

Appology accepted. yeah, i just dont need people makein my life harder so sorry for the vent...As far as the 69 350 i think that looks out of place to me. Sorry maybe its just me. I was thinking that the stripes might be too much, but i think i can pull it off. I really like how that ZL1 looks...I like the ZL1 stripes and i like the hockey stripes. It just reminds me of the yenko cars with a twist of modern stylein. BTW my fav car of all time are the 69/ZL1/Yenko Cars I know i will never be able to own one, and this is as close as i am gunna be able to get.

 

I'll be perfectly honest: I wouldn't get any of those.

Definitely not ZL1, SS, or SLP... but out of those choices, I guess I'd pick LS6 although only if it's an actual LS6 everything.

None are really my cup o' tea, though.

 

Ok then what would you suggest wise guy?
