I'm looking to pick up a set of rims by the middle of next month. I am really in the dark as to what rims to go with though. I have a 95 Z28 that is dark green. Any suggestions on what might look good? I LOVE LOVE LOOVVEE rims with wide lips, like many of the HRE and iForged rims have....However, I don't want to pay $800+ per rim if I can help it Are there any other brands or styles that offer the wide lip? Also, any of you who have, or have seen dark green camaro's, what color rims look good on them? I was thinking I'd have whatever rims I get powdercoated black in the center and polish the outer lip. I think it would go good with my cars black trim. Anyone have pics of black rims with p'coated lips on ANY color cars?

 

i belive his name is 25th ta and thers a guys names jim or jeff ss over at ls1.com forum, they are both running hp wheels. I just ordered boyd coddington smoothie 2'[s which give you a decent lip, the boyd coddington gotch series will give you the most lip for that manufacturer, and intro wheels can give you a huge lip also, but they are like 2100 for a set of 18's w/o tires or anything. hah, do a search and see what turns up. hope that helps you a little

 

im preety happy with my 17 by 11 zr1 rims and their lip....

 

My rims have a decent lip. I'm not sure if they still sell them though or not

Edit: heres a place you can buy them-but they are normally overpriced, you can probably find them a lot cheaper somewhere else
