What kind of prep & paint for suspension parts?

Got my front end torn apart to put my tubular k-member in.

While it's apart I want to clean up and paint my A-arms/calipers etc.

I did a search, and decided to go against G2 paint for the Calipers, and just clean them up real good and use some high-heat engine paint.

What about the suspension pieces after I clean them up? Acrylic vs enamel? What about prepping them, I want black, so I assume I'll need a couple coats of primer first...

Thanks!
Dave

I was wondering something similar. A-Arms, K-member, etc.

Yeah, brush it on. Its very thick. If you don't use it all, seal the canister up in bag very good. Once it's set, it hardens into something that you can almost take a hammer to and it wont chip off. Call around. Some automotive stores carry it. In MN I was able to find it at an automotive specific paint place called Welle Auto... not sure if they're national. A lot of the guys who restore old muscle cars use it because of its hard shell and resistance to just about any crap on the road. They make it in several colors and temp specific applications. You can use it in a spray gun if you prefer. You wont be disappointed 10 years down the road. This **** is tough.
