What the Heck!

Just came back from my body shop where my '84 Z28 is restored,
i ordered 2 quarter panel (jobber by my Car Quest dealer) and the one on the driver side won't fit at all, the hole for the gas tank is 1/2 inch too low. Any ideas what's wrong, my bodyman says that under the quarter panel, it's factory unrestored.....

Check it here...

Right now i have just ordered 2 Original GM Quarter Panel from WOODSTOCK, 769$ canadian each!!! Now it should fit!

Cannot let my car have one side quarter jobber and the other side original....

What you think guys, do i put jobber front fender on my car or put Original Gm since my quarters will be original??? perhaps you can se a diffrence when mixing jobber body part with original GM.

I just want the curves on my fender and quarter panel to be exactly the same, plan to do some showroom with my car.

Can wait to hear from you guys.... I really dont care if it will cost me 2000$ more.....

If the price is within reason - genuine GM all the way.
