What have you paid to have your front clip/bumper (re)painted

Mine is full of chips and it is the only area of my car that I am ashamed of. I think the front bumper was replaced sometime before I owned the car and has an unusual high number os chips compared to almost any other 4th gen I have seen in my area. I think it might have been a crappy paint job.

Anyway, like the topic said....about how much do you think I would be paying to get it repainted? Or does any one have any good pics of a Lt1 F-body with a bra on?

I was quoted 300 to have it taken off and painted. Ive also asked about it befor to see if my price seems resonable and everyone said it was. I think Im going to take it off myself though and have them paint it. It gets done better then leaving it on the car but leaving it on is much cheaper. Maybe 100 bucks cheaper. Im gonna try to get my front GFX and Clip painted for 300 since Im taking the clip off myself and the GFX isnt on the car yet.
Also it depends on the color and how hard it is to blend. Black is easy other colors arent.
Expect 250 to 350.

I also was quoted (and paid) $300, but mine had a big scratch on it, and it was white, don't know if other colors would be cheaper or more expensive.

I've got the chameleon green color on my car, is there any different process to painting this color? Wondering because of cost and also my uncle owns an electrostatic painting business (I know the clip isn't metal) and considered having him re-spray my front bumper?

Mystic Teal Metallic is a factory color so the pricing on it will be pretty much the same as any other factory color.... i.e red, white, black etc etc. There isn't any difference in the application either, spray a few coats of base for good coverage then go over it with thin coatings of clear until you get the desired result.
