OK kids, we all know what the common altezzas look like. I personally don't like them. The chrome is cheesy to me.

But what about these kinds? No cheesy chrome! The total red seems much smoother and better looking to me. My friend has them on his Accord, and they look waaaaay better than the stock lights, and infinetly better than the first type of altezzas I linked.

I was just wondering what everyone thought of those all red altezzas. I still wouldn't put them on an F-body, though, but I still think they look better than the chrome ones.

 

I would personally have to see the right ones for the Camaro to be able to judge them. If they look anything like that, I would say they are still UGLY.

Those are the only ones I would even consider so far! They aren't bad. I'd like to see them installed.

 

Since this section of the board is based on many opinions...
I hate the Altezzas and anything associated with them...I like regular Tail Lights...I don't like the Altezza's on the newer vehicles...If I were forced to buy them on a vehicle, then I would start liking blackouts more...

if they re-named it, and didn't make them for the import crowd... sure, they wouldn't look too bad.

 

I agree somewhat here. However some of the new ones like the pic that was posted in this thread of the Camaro ones are starting to grow on me. Speaking of blackouts though, if I was going to use them, I think those lights would be pretty cool if you used the blackouts with them. Think about it. You wouldn't be able to tell when the lights are off, but when they're on they would show the red circles through and be kind of reminiscent of a early 2nd gen Camaro or a Vette. I'd like to see that.

 

Ive actually been thing of doing that, but with black paint instead of blackouts. Little known fact, black paint is as much or even more visible as blackouts when lights are on, and a hell of a lot cheaper. I have this done on all of my rear lights, but I would like a little something different. If I were to get altezzas, I would probably paint them so you couldnt tell with the lights off.

 

Hey, those are actually kind of cool. It would be even cooler if the reverse light was on the very inside, then you could use the sequential tail light kit on those...

i like those carbon fibre ones alot
but i didn't mind the chrome ones i think the red ones are the worst

 

i kind of like them, and they blow the hell out of the chrome ones!

 

I've seen those in a few pics, they aren't that bad. It's the other ones that look almost simialar to those which looks really bad (not the first altezzast that came out)
