What do you think?

Well, I have my 2000 pewter Firebird and I want to get started modding the car. I'm going to do the exhaust as soon as I get the money but I'm gonna concentrate on the appearance right now (well, the appearance mods that aren't too expensive) Take a look of my car and let me know what appearance mods you think I should do and what colors........

Nice car. When it comes to appearance mods on 4th gen Firebirds/TAs, less is more. I would simply get some decals from Brent Franker for the rear Pontiac, the side Firebird emblems, and the front bird on the liscense plate cover. I would also hold off the exhaust since its a V6. If you insist getting an exhaust, get a quiet(stock) dual outlet muffler so you can have the look of duals. Window tint, lowering and some wheels would set it all off Just my opinion though.

Cut the antenna down to a little bit above roof level. Get the WS-6 hood because it looks so damned sexy on those firebird front ends. (better than the T/A in my opinion) And get some nice wheels. Not necessarily in that particular order.

I've never seen the site, thanks man. I see a lot of neat things for the interior of my car. What do you think of black reflective lettering on the back and just buff out the center plate where the "firebird" goes? I was also playing around w/the idea of getting headlight blackouts w/the third brake light.

I don't think you need to modify the exterior of the car, it is already cool enough... but... if you really want some suggestions...

Lower the car 1 inch and paint the wheels pewter to match the car. That would look GREAT. Maybe replace the red Firebird logo on the back with a pewter one from Brent to really tie it all together.

The 8 inch antenna is too short IMO. The length mine is cut to looks just right.

Did you just cut your stock antenna? How exactly do you do that? It might be as simple as I'm thinkin' it is, but just to be sure.

Why does your airdam look so big? It looks like you're dragging a snowplow down there.

Yep, just cut the stock one with a dremel and cut off wheel. I'm sure a hacksaw would also work. Make sure you find a little rubber tip to put on the end, I used one from a CB whip antenna.

It doesn't just look big, it is big. It's the RKsport airdam. It was on there when I bought the car. I think the car had ground effects on it previously. It scrapes on just about everything, but it also shovels a bunch of air toward the radiator.
