why all the mods to a 6? dont you think its just not worth it? I personally think the idea is stupid, unless of course your goal is to beat gt's and cobras. I think you should stop wasting ur money, save up, and then trade ur + cash for a v8.

My best friend has a 98 V6 bird and he modded the hell out of it. There are 6's running 12's and 13's easily...
Its hard and rare to see a 6 running like that...i have a v8, but it takes more effort and ***** to mod a v6, b/c hes already a few seconds slower then us..

If he wants to do it, let him...Personally i thought your comment was pretty stupid, but hey thats just my opinion..

lol, dont get butt hurt, its my opinion, and btw this quote is exactly what ricers say when people ask them why they dont just buy a fast car and make it faster. LOL. its was on the news, look it up.

 

what really irritates me is the snobbery that a lot of 8 cyl. owners look down on 6 cyl. owners. The 6's are performance cars in their own right! I mean...they can get up and move! They may not have the torque of the 8, and believe me...being an 8 cyl owner myself...I wouldn't trade it for anything...except maybe the magnum V10 viper engine ...But, I digress. What I'm trying to say here is...in the grand scheme of things...these 6's can stomp a good many of the cars out there. So, performance-wise...there's absolutely NOTHING wrong with them. But what does that have to do with appearance? Not a darned thing. His car is freakin sweet. Does it have a shopping cart handle spoiler? No. How about tons of neons everywhere...and magical HP stickers? I didn't see it. And as far as I could tell, he hasn't badged it up as something it's not. He just likes the hood! Looks to me like a sweet **** ride with an owner that is really taking car of it. BTW, I REALLY like the new hood. Good job man. Don't worry about Cbra Kilr...he's a newbie.

Just wondering why the page is for an '89 Buick Skylark? Maybe you had a Skylark there at one time and converted it to the firebird page?

 

Some of us can't afford the insurance on a V8 (a.k.a me and my bro) and we LOVE working on our cars. I do mostly appearance mods cause I have a V6 vert that i'm making into a show car but I will soon start engine mods. It'll make it alittle faster and I just love working on the car, doesn't matter if it won't be as fast as a V8, just the satisfaction of knowing that I modified my car myself.
