aright some ******* backed up into my 98 TA and damaged my hood and took off, so now i gatta get it ****in repaired, you guys think it will cost just as much to repair it then to get a ram air hood?.....its a decent size dent on the hood where the vents are and its scratched to ****....but really no other damage then that....damn it

 

A guy I know was quoted 500.00 to have hood damage repaired. If you were to get an aftermarket hood, it would probably run around 500.00-600.00 and however much to paint and install that.

 

yea thats wat i thought.....i can get the painting done for free and install myself so aftermarket it is

 

Well, look at it this way... what better time to get the ram air hood you've been wanting???

 

oh yea lol.....thats exactly how i looked at it, I was just pissed off merley at the fact that some ignorent person didnt have the courtesy of leaving a note but, honestys a hard thing to find now a days eh? haha

 

Same thing happened to me, some [pick your own word] hit the bumper of my Grand Prix and left without a note or nothing about three months ago, and of course, I have to absorb the cost. People have no morals these days.
