Red face What bulb for foglights?

This is a stupid question, but what bulb goes in the foglights? I've misplaced my owner's manual and in my Haynes manual it states the bulb type is "5"

Does that mean 9005? What the heck is bulb type 5?

Thanks

Yep, it's the 885. It'll be like ten bucks at your local auto parts store.

If I'm not mistaken aren't you doing the FF75 upgrade? If you are, and you are gonna run some nice white bulbs in them, I would get some brighter fog light bulbs as well. You can get them
here for $25 a set (not bad at all)...scroll to the very bottom of the page for 885's. That would look better than the yellowish halogen's with the nice new headlights.

Yeah, that's why I wanted to know what bulb to use in the fogs.

Hyperwhite 885s are hard as crap to find online too...so far the link you posted is the cheapest I've seen, one place wanted $35.xx for 'em!

Will 893s also fit? I ask 'cause the way the description is worded on this page and 'cause it seems that 893s are easier to find.

Thanks!

893 is the new replacement for 885, yes. I have Eurolite 893s in my stock housings and they look good!

JSK is right- 893's are the replacements. they work just like 885's.
However, I had Eurolite 893's in mine and one blew after 3 months so I say NO TO EUROLITE 100%, because 3 of 6 bulbs I've bought from them have blown (2 lows, 1 fog), (1 highs and other fog still working).
Now I'm gonna do Dalton's Pilot Fog Light converstion when i get my car back from the shop.

I have a 98 and the owner manual does not have the bulb listed.
I too am interested in the hyperwhite color. Does anyone know the bulb number, it can't be the same as the 97.

Thanks

I don't see why not...the corner lenses are the same, as well as the interior, brake lights, rear marker lights...
