What is the best price for a SS Hood and Airbox?
#2
Serveral months ago I was looking for the same thing. After hours and hours and what seemed like days of searching I found:
If you want everything to be brand new, it won't be cheap. The cheapest I found was for about $765 not including Shipping. Which tends to be anywhere from $70-$100.
What you should do is be patient. Set the money aside. Thats what I did and I would go to online auctions (ebay). There I found brand new hoods from a very reputable place for under $500 shipped. You just had to cut out the "scoop hole" to make functional. And then I found a used airbox in great condition for $125. Then I had a freakin' accident had to pay a $500 deductible and well.....
You can also look at some of the GP's here. Or vendor specials that pop up from time to time. Lots of options that will save you money, if your patient.
