I don't know what a solar wing is either. Is it a spoiler? And you're just taping it on? Spoilers need to be screwed / bolted on.
That said, the following spoilers are approved for use on 4th gen Camaros (and this is a complete and final list):
1. Stock V6/Z28 spoiler
2. Above w/ factory ground effects package extension
3. SS spoiler
4. One of those really long drag racing spoilers, but only if it's a drag-only car.
Aftermarket replicas of the factory spoilers are acceptable.

Re: What besides 3M can i use?
Clean off the glass and clean off the wing. Then use some clear RTV silicone on the wing. Rub it on the wing so that you have a nice thin coating. Then place it on the hatch carefully and gently push down on the wing section by section to squeeze any air from in between the hatch and the wing. Be very careful not to cause the wing to slide when doing this because things will get messy.
The wing will be on very, very securely and if you ever want to take it off, it will peel off with a razor and leave no residue behind.
I used this method to stick on "eyebrows", headlight and tail light covers and none have ever flown off.
Should work for you too.
