Anybody have these? Do they leak, and fog up?

The altezzas are generally frowned upon in this community and i've heard some negative things about their fitment. Personally, I couldn't tell you either way.

I've installed alot of aftermarket lights on cars for my friends, and even factory replacement lights and never have, and never will install them without sealing them first with a bead of RTV or silicone caulk between the lens and the housing. It's easy, cheap, and guarantees they won't fog up. For those, black Silicone caulk would be perfect. Clear lights, of course, you should use clear to seal them up. Make sure you don't leave a gap in the bead and they won't fog, provided there's a good seal between the bulb and the housing.

Those lights actually look REALLY good on the Camaro's since they are not the "chorme" type. My friend has them in his Camaro. Click here to check it out!

I don't know how he installed the lights but I haven't heard him complain about them fogging up or getting water in them...

If you want a different look put some 97 taillights on or something.

I saw some similar, but carbon backround in a summit catolog, but they were like $250. I was looking, and it seems like everyone on ebay is selling that same light. Some up to $20 cheaper. I have a ton of rtv at the ship. Im just worried they will leak where the bulb goes in.

I know these aren't the same taillights in question, but this shows a different view on a very common set off of ebay that are the black style. Before anyone says they don't like them...I did not keep them. I used these pictures to re-sell em for actually a better price!!

This is what they originally looked like:

However my idea was to tint them all black, or just the two outside lights to make it look like a vette at nite....either way I wasn't liking it.

JMHO I would either go export, 97-02 style, or tint out for the taillights. Pretty much anything can be done up right though so make sure and do what you truly want! I don't think the euro taillights are terrible....just please don't go the chrome style!!

Stroked 383, those are actually the only aftermarket taillights that I like. I don't see them on very many cars, but I see tons of the other uglier ones.

I love my lights, never had a problem with them and look beautiful IMO. Get some LED bulbs to replace your stock bulbs. It completes the look. I got my bulbs at superbrightleds.com

i've got the same taillights too, still haven't settled on if i like them or not but the car is gettin paint soon and while i have all the lights out i'm gonna niteshade them all then decide. fitment was ok, but you may have to tap back a spot where one of the bulb housings may hit the body. nothing major and hidden so not a big deal to me.

the 97+ lights SUCK! the 93-96 lights look much more "evil" at night. Because they are have a wider red area and don't have the amber in them.
