Getting my windows tinted Saturday. I'm still not totally sure on what % tint. My sig says 20, but as of now I'm going to do 15. Don't worry about laws, I know of two inspection places who don't worry about your tint.

I would go with 10 or 15%. 5% is really hard to see out of at night.

 

Sure is. That's why I'm leaning towards 15%. 10 might even be a bit dark don't you think?

it doesnt matter if you can pass inspection...you can still get pulled over, but if you wanna pay like 80 bucks thats cool

 

I like 20%. Dark enough that you can't see in very well but light enough that it isn't so dangerous at night!

 

this is good to know, I plan on getting my hatch tinted soon.

 

I've got a 5% tint strip on the front window and 5% on the rear hatch, had 5% on the side windows (to dark at night)

I now have 20% on the sides.. still kinda dark at night ...

I wouldn't go less then 25% ... around here 35% is the darkest legal you can go. A guy i work with got a $250 ticket for having like 28%
