Went for a drive....Pics (56k...I think not)

Well, I woke up early this morning and decided to clean up the car. I washed it, broke out the Clay Bar, then polished it to that smooth as silk feeling. Finally, the family and I went for a drive. We decided to head out to an area called Point Loma, a place I've never been too as long as I've lived here in San Diego. I came upon a cemetary for our fallen Military Heroes. I've always found it awe inspiring to visit hallowed grounds such as these. Some might say this isn't the place to snap some photos, but what better for a background than something that reminds us all of our ability to call ourselves free. I actually heard a family celebrating a fallen family member's birthday, and let me tell you, it brought me chills. I hope no one is offended by me taking pictures in such a location.

Great looking car. And that's a beautiful final resting place overlooking the water like that.

I am in the Air Force and did Honor Guard for a while (the individuals who perform the burial ceremony for fallen military members at cemetaries such as these), and I can say that it does not offend me, and probably wouldn't offend others.

If I ever die, I would be honored if someone would take their picture of thier F-body in front of the graveyard. It is a resting place, but that doesn't mean that the living can't enjoy paying their respects to the deceased by visiting or taking pictures.
