Maybe he drives truck for a living and wanted the same feel in his car...

Nice concept- poor execution. If it were about 6-8" lower maybe, but then the pistol grip would be awkward in the bottom half of the shift pattern. Not really a good way to do it on the 4th gens IMO.

Another West Virgina mod, actually i think when people put those B&M T-Shifters on a manual it's even worse than that. If you notice some modded tractor trailers have really tall shifter where the driver has to reach over his head to change gears, this is probably the same way.

I used to be mad when I felt like I was gonna punch my stereo with my stock shifter. I dropped it down with a short stick.

Maybe he wants to punch his vents?

He is probably wondering why his stereo changes stations everytime he shifts, I bet his knuckles are raw from hitting the dash.
