Washing seat in my 98z

Sup guys i'm going to dye the seats that are im my 98 z and i want to know what is the best way to clean the seats befor i dye them?

Armor-All Leather Cleaner...works great but leaves the seat kinda slick so i dunno if the die would stick to it or not but that cleaner shure as hell gets off a lot of dirt and grim and stuff.....hope that helps

do you have cloth or leather ??

when i had my stock "cloth" seats in my camaro, i just pulled the factory covering off and tossed it in the washing machine on light cycle and before they could dry i put them back on the seats.
made'em look like new! "seriously"
