Ok, I am wanting to get my car painted but want something different when it comes to the color.

My question is where can I find a color on the net? I am wanting to find a car paint pallet so that I can come up with that just right color.

Anyone have any suggestions?? I am thinking a really dark gray, but not sure yet.

I'll be the first to tell you that you can't accurately judge what a paint color is going to look like by seeing it online. There's FAR too many variables that can affect the way the color looks on your screen. Anything from the Kelvin degree that you're running on your monitor to brightness and contrast can change the output on your end. On their end, the exposure they use on the camera to the white balance setting (if that's how they render their pics) can affect the way the color looks.

To really get a feel for what a paint color is going to look like, go to a paint supply shop in your area and ask to take a look at their paint chip catalog. Take it outside and look at it in the sunlight for a better idea of what the color will really look like. You'll be surprised at how different some colors can look under artificial vs. natural light. And guess which one your car is going to be in the most.
