Nice job. That's a good looking car, but then I'm biased toward black LT1's. And you just can't beat the sound of a good aftermarket cat-back on a 5.7L.

 

Seems like you were trying to get a decent burnout but just couldn't get it rolling.

but is it me or was only one tire spinning in the first take off and it seemed like she bogged a bit the 2nd pass

edit* - see she was a conversion... did u perchance not change out the rear? also car looks 10x better with the new wing and stock tailights -

 

I think my clutch is going out !!!It does bog in first a little & I dont know why??As soon as it hit like 3000 it takes off like a bat out of hell ,As for the peel it still has the V6 rear end in it ,It will spin both someting but the one will let loose!! bare with me Ill have my Z28 rear end in a few weeeks I hope.

 

ya... the new rear end will help out quite a bit - the bogging is probably due to the gearing from your V6 -

Thank you someone else told me the same thing , I cant wait to get the new rear end in , it should wake that car up , Im just waiting for the guy whos car it it to get it back from the insurance company its totaled in the front end then caught on fire , its a mess . But the rear end is in good shape .

nice. Do u have posi? If so looks like its not working to the best. right is spinning more then the left.

 

No its limited slip V6 rear end I havent changed it yet to the Z28 rear end what do you guys recomend for gears once I get the rear end for some good launch!!

yeah replace that thing asap, are u gettin a stock 10 bolt or goin with a built 12? i would go with 342s, i have some for sale if ur interested, shoot me a pm

umm guessing u have a t56? and if the rear is coming out of a t56 it comes stock with 3.42's

id recommend 3.73 or 4.10's - from what ive read peoplewith 4.10's have been happiest and those that went to 3.73's have regreted not going bigger... ill have 4.10's in mine within the month

 

i second that, go for the 4.10's in a t56 and 3.73's in a 4l60e

 

I may look into the 410`s just as long as I still get good hwy speed I would like to do the power tour next year , so well see , I need to find out whats in this rear end Im trying to get first?? its a stock 95 Z28 rear end 6 speed car??

stock she has 3.42's - no question on that -

with the 4.10's i hear guys are doing about 2-2.5k around 70 on highway... from what i hear its the perfect gear for a t56- mine are in mail now
