vfn hood and performance
So i was looking at the new ultra z hood from VFN Fiberglass and came across a promo that if you buy performance parts from VFN then you get money off their fiberglass parts has anyone else seen this or bought things from them . I've been wondering about the diablo sport predator tuner is it worth the cost, also what kind of gains could i expect from a 2001 3.8L manual if i used it, and is there any hope for my six besides better MPG. If anyone has dealt with them please let me know. It would be kinda nice to get everything from one place let me know please guys.
THANKS

Don't waste money trying to hop up a V6. They are nice cars, but they aren't fast and you can't make them fast without a lot of money.
Just worry about the looks or don't spend any money at all on it.
PS, I'm saying this out of experience. I had a V6 Mustang and I spent about 700 bucks trying to make it faster and didn't notice any power gain at all. So I ditched trying to make it faster and put a body kit and nice wheels on it and it was an okay car. If you do the exhaust on one of those right, it can sound really good too. I had true duals, no muffler, cat only, with resonator tips. It sounded bad ***, like a low revving Ferrari or something. Of course, it was slow as a dog.

I wouldn't force yourself to buy performance parts from one vendor just to get a discount on other things. The 3.8L platform does have a nice aftermarket for performance parts, the main thing is shopping around to find the best deals.
