V-Flag Emblem Placement Help...

Here's the V-Flag:
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v132/digi01/VFLAG.jpg

Here's where I'm thinking of putting it(Red Circle):

Here's what I've already done to each fender:

Any other suggestions as to where else I might put it? I'm not sure if putting it on the front would be too much.

Thanks.

-Marc

Re: V-Flag Emblem Placement Help...

I like what you've done with it so far. I've debated getting on some old badges for mine too. I think it's cool to pay homage to the oldschool.

But if it were me....and it's not....I don't think I'd stack that flag above the camaro symbol on the nose. I think it'd be too much in too small of a space. I've scene where guys have removed that front emblem for something else and that might work, but having them both on the nose would be too much......in my opinion.

Nice job though and good luck.

Thanks man! Yea, I also recently considered removing the stock emblem, somehow filling in that indentation and putting it there, I just don't know how I'd go about doing that. Thanks for your input.

well if you were willing to spend some extra money...most aftermarket stock replacement front bumpers dont have the emblems on them at all. Thats why my Firebird doesn't have the bird on teh front bumper anymore

I'd smooth the rear camaro letters over and put it in the middle of the panel.

I'm not really liking the front end emblem idea.

x2 thats exactly what i was think aw/whitez28. ive seen it done with the z/28 emblem looked good. that would look the best. dont put it on the front unless ur remove the one that is there now, u can fill that in with bondo, then repaint it, or go with the idea of puttin it on the back

hmm that's a nice looking emblem. I'd like to replace my stock nose emblem with that.

Re: V-Flag Emblem Placement Help...

Agreed that I would not add the crossed-flags above the OEM nose badge. Might work if it is in place of the nose badge, but I thing you will have problems with the fact the crossed-flags is not shaped correctly to sit flush on the nose. I would think it would look better to get a second badge and put them underneath the side molding, under the Camaro script on the fenders. IMO, of course.

I wouldn't put it on the front. The side fenders already have something going on as well. Have you considered in a position the sail panels (between the side windows and the rear hatch glass)? I think that is a perfect spot.

Here's a GREAT example...the 1993 Camaro Pace Car where they put the pace car badge:

Word. I think the crossed flags would look awesome there.

After seeing those pics, I agree. That would be a good place for them.
