Thanks!! I need to get a body kit and drop it down a bit, but it's a work in progress. I know some folks don't care for this hood on a LT1, but everyone I have seen around here love it. Any ideas on a kit that would work well with what I have so far?
(the trick is to get my wife let spend more moolah )

I have always liked the look of the Wings West W-Type gfx on a 93-97 camaro!
actually, there is a guy somewhere (ancient chinese secret, lol!) selling a set for $400 o.b.o.
since you don't need the rear piece, you could probably sell that (if you buy the kit) for about $125-$150 to re-coupe some of the money from the kit.

i like those as well. It will probably be a month or two before I can drop another "Benji" on this car!

(I'm glad I picked out the couch we bought, my wife puts me there everytime I start shoppin' for stuff... )

Wow, that Raptor hood looks really good on the LT1. I've only seen it on an LS1, and wasn't sure about the LT1 front end, but it looks great to me.

This is the "Double Vision" hood from Fiberglass Fabricators Inc..
Jenny answers the phone there and she is most wonderful to deal with. They have many other hoods for the F-bodies too.

Thanks for the compliments guys, it lets me know I'm moving in the right direction!

BTW: here is another angle of the hood.

I have seen the quality of other fiberglass hoods and they do not compare to the quality of this hood. There was VERY little prep needed for this hood before painting. Here are a few pics of the hood before I had my bodyshop paint it.

You can see the quality for your self, right out of the box. If you plan on getting a hood, give FFI a call, you won't be sorry!
(Tell Jenny I sent ya! )

Wow

That looks really nice.

Once you put the sides and front ground effects on, it will look even better ! !

I REALLY like the rear berger style panel !
