How much did you spend on the computer stuff. Ive been thinking of doing this too, just for ****s and giggles.

I spent about 800-1000, not entirely sure... i had a previous version that didn't work out, so i had some parts left over from that. I went to install the previous version and found that the motherboard was too wide to fit.

Sheesh, right now I'm looking at maybe $100 total cost, without a screen. Of course, I've got roughly 4 low-end computer systems lying around... not matx or itx, but they're old school, which means sleek as hell.

Yeh, the original version 1 that I had only cost me 150. But, then I had to part together all the different parts. Screen was 250, motherboard was about 200, power supply was 180, it adds up fast when you're getting the specialized parts for a carPC application.
