Turn signal housing removal need help!!!

I am trying to install a set of clear front turn signals on my 02 SS. I got all the screws out and the bulb sockets removed. But when I try to take the housing out it gets stuck on either the foam on the inboard side or the seam where the panels connect together on the outboard side. This is on the drivers side, I gave up last night and didn't try the passengers side. Anyone ran into this problem before?

Are you sure you got all the screws removed? When I did this we jacked the car up and removed them from underneath the car. I dont remember exactly how they come out, but I remember it being really easy and straightforward. Hope this helps.

I found it easier to work on them be removing the headlight assembly- which was actually pretty easy, and then gave great access to work on the parking lights-

I got all the screws out, it would move around really easy up, down, and side to side but it just wouldn't come out. Guess maybe I will have to remove a little bit of that foam then maybe it will come out.

Are you trying to removed them through the bottom or top?

Maybe my car was built on a Friday and the workers were in a hurry to get off so they could go pound some cold ones!
