turn signal blackouts?

turn signal blackouts?

simple like the title im lookin for somethin to black out the turn signals. i was thinking about clears but dont think theyld look as good with so much of the car red and black only clear and gray is inside, but thats up after i finish the exhuast off(headers). Anyway who makes these and wheres the best deal at?

Ive never seen or heard of them, but they would look sweet. Maybe there is somekind of transparent black paint you could use to do it yourself.

may end up using nightshades to do it myself.. but ilda swore i saw it done on another car somewhere before (yes i mean another 93-97 camaro)

I know someone who just got the cheapo tint at murrays or autozone. He cut to shape and applied, looks pretty good imo.

I bought the RK Sport ones back in '96 and ran them for about 4 years. I really liked them, they fit nice and flush and it was still easy to see the signal during the day for oncoming traffic. They definately saved the lenses from breaking a few times from rocks. You could see the little pits in them from the rocks. I would use them again.

i just did it today on my car
check it out, as well as the headlight mod

u can go to a hobby shop and get some tint spray, they use them for model cars windows....and put it over ur turnsignal, and spray some clearcoat and ure set.

I bought some clear from ebay and night shaded 'em... did the same with the rear side markers. I keep the originals, in case I ever wanted to go back. I like the way they look.

Sorry, it's not a '97 or red, but in this picture the running lights are on, so you see that quite a bit of light still shines thru...

That looks pretty cool with the halos. Just need some wheels now
