turn a hard top into a t top
Use the search button, you will find a lot on this subject.
I don't think anyone would just do it for you, maybe a board member that has done it before or something. I would say it will cost at least $400 for a complete kit
-apillars
-t-tops
-brackets
-windshield trim
-center piece that the t-tops lock into
-t-top headliner
-weatherstripping
For me, I paid $60 for the t-tops, $20 for the center piece, $25 for the headliner and brackets and wetherstripping channels, and $100 for the weatherstripping with a brand new t-top roof section. Then I just cut the notch in the windshield trim piece instead of buying one with the notch in it.

Just sell your 97 bird and buy a car with t-tops. Since so many of our cars came with them, it would be easy to find one. I know there would be people wanting to buy your car because it doesn't have t-tops, it makes it somewhat rare.
