Talking took the Z out for a photoshoot

i was bored a couple days ago and took my pentax SLR out(that i bought like 3 years ago in australia, but still works good enough for me) and decided to blow a roll of film on my car :grinyes: lemme know what you guys think of some of them. in the first pic, the blue car behind me is a friend, josh's. if i get his permission to use his photo that i took of him in front of his car, ill post it up as well. his is an '81 malibu streetrod(soon to be LT1 powered, the body shop he works at just got in a 95 z28, which was in a wreck but the driveline is all good!). mine is the 94 z28, bone stock. its after a nice wash and wax

i have an entire 24 photos, those are just my favorites. let me know what you guys think!

Looks great. I like the shooting angles, very Automobile Magazine like.
Same color scheme as mine too. You keep it in good condition.

Re: took the Z out for a photoshoot

thank you

what qualifications would you need to work for a car magazine? lol i've been told similar stuff by more than one person... maybe ill submit photos to some magazines..

also, i got the OK so here's josh w/ his malibu. its actually going to be getting an entire LT1 drivetrain from the engine to the tranny to the rear end. he works at a body shop and they got a wrecked 95 Z, but the driveline's still intact. so he'll be buying it for that then part it out. ill probably buy a manual seat(driver side power seats are HEAVY!), and the cat to gut it and see how it sounds... that way i can switch back if it sounds like ***

Sweet malibu, I've always liked those 80's G Body cars.

Car looks really good for a 94. How many miles does it have on it?

Holy ****. Everything is still original? No rebuild or anything? It must have been taken care of really well.

Re: took the Z out for a photoshoot

yeah, and its STILL got the ***** to whoop on a bmw Z4

no rebuild, stock everything, factory opti(to my knowledge), oil changed every 3000 miles, coolant flushed every 3000, and all other fluids(tranny, rear end, etc) changed every 10000.

what still kills me is that i bought it for $2200 i have the best first car ever

Awesome first car man... I cant wait to see what this thing looks like in a year. Everyone personalizes these cars.
With 192,000 you may want to consider a rebuild.. its a good way to learn about the good ol' LT1!

lol, is that rare or something? the original owner told me that teal wasn't a real popular color in 94... can anyone confirm this?
