Tonneau Covers
Tonneau Covers
I received my tonneau about 10 days ago and tried to put it on my car. I installed the 8 screw-in snaps along the trunk wall and the rod in the windshield. It was only about 60 degrees out and I could only get a few of the trunk wall snaps to engage. After parking it in the sun and letting it sit for about a week, I was finally able to get the rest of the trunk wall and the antenna snaps to engage and the zippers to close. Several days in the sun later and it has stretched to fit nicely, so I went to drill the holes for the remaining three snaps. I cut out the templates and taped them on the car. Then I pulled on the cover to make sure the locations looked good. But the cover snaps are up to 1/2" short of the location on the template. Did anyone else have this problem?
