Ive seen a few cars with the front windshield tinted a bit and it looks really good. I saw 35% done on a LS1 WS6 Trans Am and it looked fantastic. Does anyone on here have it done and do you think I could get away with it?

 

Ive seen it done it was on a 98 cobra with a 50% tint, looks pretty clean. Im thinking of getting it done for my car.

 

my cars is done......i am so glad i did it ....no only does the suns glare not bug me as much but it looks awesome.....my car at night is very hard to see into .....i dont regret it all

How can you guys see out of your car at night? I guess I'd never tint my windshield. I have a hard enough time trying to talk myself into tinting my regular windows.

 

I can actually see out of my TA pretty good at night. When I had my 94 Camaro that was a little different though. There were times when I had to double check that they were even turned on.

Thats the car that made me want to tint my windshield.

 

In our state, you can only have material 6" down from the top or it's illegal. Seems pretty unsafe to me though.

 

yeah i dont see how you can see the road at night safely. In NC you can tint to the AS-1 line or whatever its called.

 

How is that Not illegal??
