Does anyone know of a specific kind and where of the DIY tinting that will work on Polycarbonate/plexiglass/my Percys speedglass rear window.

I was all set at the parts store had the tinting in hand started reading the back and it said not for plexiglass among other stuff. Well that sucks! I dont want this rear lexan CLEAR.

I wonder why you cant use that do-it-yourslf type tint on plexiglass? The guys in the store are no help. I cant see why it wouldnt and am half inclined to just do it. Has by chance anyone else done this? What'd you do?
