tinting opinion and pics

I about to get some tint put on my car and got a quote for about $140. I'd like to see what the different %'s are I'm waivering between 35, 15, or 5. What do you suggest?

Does anyone have any pictures so I could judge what its gonna look like for the different tints?

Also, my car is registered in Nevada so I can use their laws for the tinting right even though I'm driving the car in NY right now?
I think the law for NV is 28% but I'm not all that worried about it.

Take a look at the pictures below. I have 5% on all my windows. You can see from different angles, and different amount of sunlight they can look REAL dark, to not too dark. When I got my car it had some tint on it, but since I have a black car I thought it would look better with dark tint (it looks much better now). However, at night it is really dark and tough to see out of. If I am going to back up I check around my car before I get in b/c I basically can't see out of my windows at all at night. I've had this tint for about 4 months now-I got a ticket for $60 about 1 week after I got it done, but haven't been bothered since. Also, take a look at my brothers Z28 (he also got 5% tint).

I agree, the 5% will look the best, but it's a b!tch to see out of at night. I had it on my silver v6 bird, and it looked great. However, on my black 94 bird, I think i'm going to go with no more than 35%, maybe even 50% because I want to be able to actually see out the windows. I remember when I was driving home on the freeway the day I got it, it was 3:30pm and sunny and I turned my parking lights on just so I could read the dash. lol, took a couple days to get used to.

I'm not sure what the tint/law % in Texas is but it is only required to meet the law on the front windows. So that is what I have and a little darker on the back glass. Still can see out the side mirrors fine at night and darkens the car more for the day. Later>>>>>>

Go to my site. ON the front page, there is a Firebird and 2 Camaros. The 2 black cars have 5% on the sides and back and 35% top to bottom on the windshield. The white one has 20% sides and back and 35% on the windshield top to bottom. You can also see more pics of my car (white one) if you click on project budget Z.

I have the mirror/black tint on mine. (link is in the sig.) It is 20% on the back, and 15% on the doors. It is a little harder to see out at night, but not really a problem.
