I just started tinting the side marker lenses and the front turn signals. I sanded all the lettering to give them a cleaner look. I also sanded the ridges off. I am in the process of tinting the turn signals. I am going to do the same to the tail lights when I get my new ones. Here are a couple pics I have so far.

I started doing this since I decided to get away from the covers and there aren't covers for the markers.
