Question isn't as straightforward as the title would seem. My windows leak a little when it POURS, I need to adjust them I think, but that's about it. My question is, if I tint the windows am I gonna screw it up if water gets on it from a little leak? I don't wanna have them tinted then have it look like crap in a week if we get rain. Thanks.

i had my windows tinted at AutoOne. they did a very nice job and for reasonable cost. my winodws leaked the same way, and only a few small pencil head size bubbles occured in the 4 years i had the car.

 

If the tinting is sealed correctly you shouldn't get any problems from moisture/rain.

 

My car had tinted windows when I bought it, and a saggy driver's door that's been hit before I bought it. It gets in the car a little every time it rains (but not enough to ruin the door skin), and a lot whenever I wash it (I put a towel in it when I wash it). Even though a previous owner tore it to hell and back, the tint on the windows was done very well, and it doesn't mess up at all.
