I just picked up some clears, but I am trying to find the really good Audi style orange, or a good bulb in general that lights up orange that won't burn out soon. Anyone know the type of bulb, I haven't opened up the old ones to see. Any info would be appreciated.

 

Sylvania part #s are:

For the side marker bulb: #194NA
For the turn signal bulb: #3157NA

Same bulb number thats in there but Natural Amber. You can get them just about anywhere, Kragon, Pepboys etc.

I've had the 3157NA in my car for about 2 years now without any problems. I didn't install the side markers.

 

I went with these.
This is the same thing for the other bulb.
I heard those have one of the darker amber coats on them and that they are also still bright. I am happy with them.

 

Hey I wanted to thank you guys for your responses, and the links helped very much, the place I found that sells those same euro lights here where like 15 bucks each bulb. But I am ordering those cause I need them, is there any way you guys can post a pic with the lights on. Do they still look good and orange through the clear corners? Thanks again...

 

I went with silver star for the 3157 main bulb it looks mostly silver when off and amber when on, and an amber for the 194. I may switch to a LED later. Go to my car domain site in a few hours and I will have some new pictures posted with the lights on and off.
