For those wanting the 96-97 SS Spoiler

I just thought I would spread the knowledge. I just got mine from SLP for $205 shipped! Came in today. These are not blem's. They don't advertise the free shipping but when it came time for check out, there was a promo code in and I left it there, sorry don't remember code maybe 8403 or 8405?, and when I checked out it said free UPS shipping.

So if you were planning on buying one, now is the time.

Yup. Just found this out too. They are on clearance. Once they are gone, I don't think they are making more.

SLP normally charges INSANE amounts to ship these spoilers. I was quoted at $130 for shipping. The code can be found by clicking on "Xmas Specials" in the SLP Home page.

They did this a couple years ago, too. I think they will keep making them as long as people are buying them. However, they may also be making room for new camaro parts.

Website says "NOTE: While supplies last and sold as is" and they are in the clearance section so I don't think they are going to make more, but who knows.

Mine was free.

Not a bad price. I believe I sold mine for $250 or $200 painted. (I bought a OEM LT1 SS Spoiler for my old '94 Z28)

IIRC you had to do some kinda extra wiring to get the LS1 SS spoiler on an LT1

unbelievable....un-****ing-believable. Now after I buy some crappy aftermarket ls1 SS spoiler (really wanted lt1 SS) and do a whole bunch of work on it to get it straight and sit flush with the quarters, do they decide to drop their retarded shipping price. Before when I was looking to buy one, it would have cost me over $450 shipped when they were asking $160 for them.

Thanks for the heads up. I just ordered one. Now I need to buy some paint to finish it.

they were as low as $129 about a year ago... once they raised prices and i had some extra cash they raised it to $250 again, so i ended up finding a brand new one locally for $150.

i'll only deal with legit slp body parts... bad body alignment makes your car look like crap.

Not true. All I had to do was unbolt my regular z28 spoiler and mount my ls1 SS spoiler. No extra wiring. Direct easy swap.

I take it the special on free shipping is over. I went on the site and they quoted $130 for shipping.
