'carsram-air' is the guy. He seems to sport plates that say, "LT1", "BADASS CAMARO", and "PONY EATER" and "5.7 - LT1"

A veritable treasure trove of bad taste! (I gotta have one.)

Thanks for the help!

plastic piece? As in the plate your replacing or the gasket thats underneath it? I found that my screws didnt really want to go back in the same path they came out. They wanted to turn to different angles and couldn't get them very tight. I might be getting unmetered air in threw there. I got a new gasket and Im going to try to reseal it when it warms up outside.

Found the guy's email, and he's agreed to sell any of you guys here from Camaroz28.com which ever badges you want. he's not listed any on eBay, and said he'd give us all a crack at em.

Most are $10...one that has BAD *** CAMARO is $15. Shipping is cheap I think.

Email the guy and tell him DJ sent you over and he said he'd get you all taken care of!

I think those things just dont look mean. Kinda girly lettering. If they had more of an aggressive look I'd get one.

That guy needs to get ahold of or develope his own (i.e., copy! ) the actual CAMARO, SS, Trans Am, Firebird fonts and I think he'd do much better.

Personally, if I buy something for my SS, I want the actual "SS" style font used... but maybe that's just me. Either way, great price on his stuff.

I'll move this over to the Appearance Section...

No doubt, but perhaps GM's often jealous view toward its trademarks makes that difficult or risky.

I think the MBA items are worth the extra dough.

No doubt. MBA's stuff often times costs more but that because it's worth it!!! When I said above that his prices were good it was for "what it was" even though I wouldn't buy it myself. However, there are people out there who wouldn't dream of paying what a MBA high quality tb plate goes for. It just so happens those people are the ones who also don't care that CAMARO is in the Times New Roman font either So, it all kinda works out. LOL!

I could care less myself. There WERE people here asking for these EXACT plates...I happened to find the guy that sells them and was providing that information.

Plus, some of us are working hard just to squeeze HP out of our motors...we don't have the luxury of splurging on name-brand high dollar pieces of engraved metal.

If you don't like em, don't buy em...this thread was for the people that DO like em and DO want to buy them.
