Question Third Brake Light

I have seen numerous posts about getting the third brake light to blink, but i've yet to see any that has been done(besides drilling holes and using strobes).I know that they're kits for this but,i was wondering if there was a cheaper way.The using a signal flasher makes too much noise. Thanks

I don't know of anything, but you could wrap the blinker up in foam or something else soft to keep from hearing the clicking noise.
It would also be easy to hook a switch up to it so it only goes on when you want it to.
