However, I had my 1989 GTA painted Chrysler platinum a few years back and fell in love with the colour. and it seems everyone else has also. So I am toying with the idea of painting my Formula that colour. please lend your opinions. im gonna have the car painted and didnt wanna change the colour. but it may be worth it

Definitly would be cool looking but why dump the money into paint when the paint on it is fine?

In that picture, all shiny, it looks great!

One thing to consider, in real life (final paint mix, eyes, dirt, lighting, etc) , if it will look too much like that tan/champaign colors you see alot of avg sedans like Camry's have... Its the reason why i don't like colors like pewter sometimes..

Thats why i prefer this colour over pewter....pewter is more gold-ish Im well aware of what the colour looks like. I had my GTA painted the exact colour

That plantimum looks awesome. But the color you have looks good and seems to be in good shape. I would put money elsewhere. Just my .2 though. But you make the payments so go for it if it is what you want

ya the paint in the pic looks fine....but is far from perfect. has some scratches, some small spots that miss some clear coat, etc.
