A friend of mine found this site and I thought it was pretty cool.. You can test the personalized plate before ordering it. I dont know what states they do have if not all of them, but I know they have CA, and FL... Check it out!

I recently sent in for some custom license plates. I went to Washington State's DOL website and looked it up and it said it wasn't taken.

So I took the time to send in the form along with a check a 2 weeks later, it got returned saying it was already taken!
Man, I would've loved having my license plate say 1BAD SS
