Can't remember how many coats are on there - that's been several years ago...
But, in my experience with NiteShades when you put 1-2 coats on it, you are better off with 0, as it looks like butt. (I use really thin coats).
IMO you either want the effect of a smoked/blacked out lamp or you want a natural lamp. Why try for something that is in between?
