I had a 97 Formula t-top car before and don't remember that piece on the t-top anywhere. I'm converting my 95 Z so I was wondering what is that piece and do I need it?? Thanks once again for all your help.

 

Those are the peices that go on the front and back of the black bar that runs across your roof. The kit you bought should include these, if not you might want to pick them up. Its hard to see what they are in that picture cause the guy who posted them enlarged the picture to larger than life size.
