Angry T-top hardcoat delamination

I just signed on to this forum. I have a 92, 25th Ann. Z-28 that I bought new in Dec. of 91. I have stored it and cared for it ever since. It has won first place in every judged show it's been in, except two where it took a second, and a third. This topic may, or may not, have been already discussed. I was in an accident last fall and, in my opinion, my T-tops were damaged. My insurance co. has manged to dig up a GM service bulletin, dated 1/95, stating that 91 and 92 Camaro and Firebired plastic laminate T-tops were subject to 'hardcoat delamination'. The bulletin (43-10-53) reads: 'Some customers may comment on the plastic T-tops exhibiting spotting or hard coat delamination. The tops' appearance will be similar to acid rain or chemical spotting. The recommended correction, at that time, was to replace both tops with pre-91 glass tops (PN: 12341253). However, these tops are no longer available from GM, or any other source I've been able to check so far. I did manage to pick up a pair of glass tops from an 87 Camaro at a local yard, but they have several scratches. I been told, by the local auto glass dealers, that the scratches cannot be removed because the tops are tempered glass.
Yes, there is a question here. Has anyone else encountered this 'delamination' problem and does anyone have a recommended solution?
Thanks for any input

I just wanted to add that, in my opinion. if GM was aware of this delamination problem by January of 95, there should have been a recall. I have taken the utmost care of this car since delivery and now I'm stuck/dealing with deteriorating T-tops.

Well you have a 3rd gen. Not to knock GM, but i have a feeling they knew far before 95'. They like to lie from time to time. Just like the 89 Turbo Trans am had 231 hp. How many years passed before they admitted they dynoed it 301 hp. Even then Just cuase they knew about the problem, and admit it, doenst mean their ever gonna fix it for free.

You shouldnt of had lexan plastic T-Tops on anything past a 89.
