switch issues with low beams

switch issues with low beams

ever since i bought the car the switch on the left what is intended to be to turn on the low beams does not work. My low beams turn on whenever its dark...is there something wrong with my switch? is it an electrical issue? any1 else have problem like this before?

Is it clicking when you pull it back or it just pulles back and doesn't switch from low to high? It could be a multi function switch.Wich controlls blinkers,headlights,running lights ect. It might be cheaper to buy a used steering column from the salvage yard.Thats what I did.Cost 20 bucks compared to the 150+ for the switch.

no im talking about something else...there is a **** that switches from left to right its located right below the drivers side air vent my lights work but the **** doesnt work...are the low beams on by sensor or can you turn then off and on?
