Corny title but need some help. Im doing the front end conversion for my z 96 im looking for a cowl hood but cant make up my mind between the two. what do you guys think? any other hoods besides those? thanks

 

If you're interested in appearance, then keep the lt1 front end

 

I love the look of the LT1 cars with the SS hood. I also love cowl hoods but not so much on 4th gens. The cowl itself on the harwood hoods that I have seen are very wide and I don't like them.

 

I love the look of the SS hood on the LT1s as well. Maybe it is because there was only a two year run on the SS models and they don't seem as common? I don't know.

 

yea i dont like the harwood very much it was between sunoco or ss...i wanted to do the 98 converison because i want more light and i like its appearnce. I know if i chose the ss hood it would fit nice with the ss spoiler. im still leaning towards the sunoco though 2.5 or maybe 3in

I like the harwood, but only on black camaro's.
